selected facilities. Data was collected from 826 reproductive age group (18-49) women 411 from
HIV positive women and 415 from HIV negative women. Systematic sampling method was used
for both groups. Data was checked for completeness and consistency, then coded and entered to

Bivariate and multivariable logistic regression was done.
Result: The prevalence of life time IPV is 41.9% and 33.8% among HIV positive women and HIV

debut less than 18 years, [AOR=3.86,95% CI (1.32-11.32)], middle and high income, [AOR=0.14,
95% CI (0.05,0.34)], [AOR=0.04,95% CI (0.11,0.14)] respectively.
