rst of all, on behalfof the Ethloplan Public Health Assoclation (EPHA), I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all our distingulshed guests to the Natlonal Research Institute of Health to attend this 3~ Anaual Scientific Conference of the EPHA. Todays" conference was earlier scheduled for August 20, 1992, however, due to unforeseen circumstances the conference was postponed for today. As most of you will recall, during the past year the health community ln Ethiopla had unfortunate experiences where we lost some of our distinguished members.
