Abstract:
The huge investment on health infrastructure construction and health
workforce development for theP a g e | 1 expansion of primary and
secondary health care unit in the last 20 years has been a huge
success for Ethiopia. However, the wide disparities of equity and
quality of health care delivery across and within regions have been
worrisome for the ministry. Hence quality and equity are pillars and
cornerstones of the transformation agenda in the strategic plan
(HSTP 2016 to 2020).
