Abstract:
The Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority (EFDA) is committed to safeguarding public health by
ensuring the safety, efficacy, and quality of medicines circulating in the Ethiopian market. In
alignment with its legal mandate as stipulated under Proclamation No. 1112/2019 and the
Pharmacovigilance Directive No. 932/2022, EFDA continues to strengthen its regulatory oversight
through robust pharmacovigilance systems and procedures.
