dc.description.abstract The Government of Ethiopia has demonstrated strong commitment to improving food and nutrition security in the country. As part of its national development agenda, the Government of Ethiopia has implemented several strategies and programs to ensure food and nutrition security over the past decade, including the National Nutrition Program, the National Food and Nutrition Policy, the Food and Nutrition Strategy, and the Food Systems Transformation Pathway. The Food and Nutrition Strategy envisions seeing all citizens with optimal nutritional status, quality of life, productivity, and longevity. The strategy aims to attain optimal nutritional status at all stages of the lifespan and under all conditions to a level consistent with quality of life, productivity, and longevity. en_US
