Abstract:
268 cases were lately reported in the last 3 days. Among these, 01 cases are newly seen at HFs and 01 cases are in date of onset in after October 15, 2023
• Among cholera patients, 15-34 and 5-14 age groups accounted 42% and 20% respectively.
• Current inpatients in the CTC = 119(Oromia = 87, DD = 10, Somali =4, CER = 17, Harari = 1)
• From Amhara (4167 cases and 77 deaths by line list and phone text), non line listed additional 237 cases and deaths of 10 were reported in phone text.
• Since august 27, 2022, a total of 25,116 (851 were in 2022) from 228 woredas have affected woredas (Oromia(91), Ser(35), Cer(19), Amhara(31), Sidama(23),
D.Dawa(9), Somali(8), Afar(10), B.Gumuz(3), Harari(3). The difference of affected woredas from formers is due to cleaned data. The Index case was from
Harana Buluk, August 27, 2022 & this outbreak was confirmed (4 from 5 were culture positive) on Sep 9, 2022. Kumer refuge camp reported 453 cases with 8
deaths and 279 cases from different IDP.
