dc.description.abstract The National Action Plan for Health Security (NAPHS) is a multi-year, country- owned plan that is a critical blueprint to strengthen the capacity to prevent, detect, and respond to public health threats. Ethiopia has made significant strides to strengthen national health security. After the successful completion of the first NAPHS strategic plan, a Joint External Evaluation (JEE) was conducted with the involvement of strong technical area and high-level country leads and external evaluators, including WHO. Following that, a multisectoral NAPHS strategic and operational plan was developed within six months, and resource mobilization was conducted. en_US
