Abstract:
Adolescent substance abuse is a pressing public health concern in Addis Ababa City, Ethiopia, with significant implications for individual well-being, family dynamics, and societal development. This study aimed to develop a comprehensive solution model to address this critical issue by examining the factors influencing adolescent substance abuse and identifying effective intervention strategies. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative data analysis and qualitative insights from key stakeholders. Accordingly, it is conducted a survey of questionnaire for a total of 80 participants and an interview held for 20 specific group of individuals such as family members, teachers, community elders and health care professionals.
