dc.description.abstract Effective Monitoring and Evaluating of health program enables the improved management of the outputs and outcomes while encouraging the allocation of effort and resources in the direction where it will have the greatest impact. This study sought to Assess Factors Associated to Monitoring and Evaluation System: Ministry of health.The research was guided by the following objectives; to assess Staff Ttraining on Monitoring & Evaluation, to assess Stakeholder’s Participation on Monitoring & Evaluation System, to assess Budget Allocation for Monitoring & Evaluation.The study targeted 96 employees of Ministry of Health working under different directorates that are related with the research.The response rate was 93.8%. The study utilized a questionnaire in collecting primary data. A Cronbach alpha test was conducted to measure the internal consistency and reliability of the data collection instruments and was found out to be 0.856 meaning the instruments were reliable. Collected data was edited, sorted, cleaned and coded for data analysis using SPSS statistical package 20. The findings were analyzed using means, standard deviation, percentages and frequencies then presented using tables and charts. The study concluded that there dequate training was provided on Monitoring and Evaluation, there is adequate Monitoring and Evaluation experience among staffs. en_US
