District health information system 2 (DHIS 2) data utilization and its determinants among performance monitoring team in public health facilities of Harari region and Dire Dawa city administration, Eastern Ethiopia

Abstract

Data utilization is one of the key functions of the Health Information System. It enables performance monitoring team for evidence based decision making to improve quality of health service delivery. This can be supported by the use of District Health Information System 2 platform which is expected to increase the utilization of health data. However, little is known about the use of health data from District Health system 2 and its determinants especially among performance monitoring team working at facility level since its implementation.
