Abstract

Low morale in the workforce can undermine the quality of service provision and drive workers away from the profession. Motivation is defined as an individual's degree of willingness to exert and maintain an effort toward attaining organizational goals. It is an internal psychological process that activates, guides, and maintains behavior toward a goal, and a transactional process.
