dc.description.abstract Effective breastfeeding technique is one of the best and cost-effective ways of promoting exclusive breastfeeding practice that prevents childhood malnutrition, morbidity and mortality. Despite the immense importance of effective breastfeeding technique, there is limited information about the proportion effective breastfeeding technique and associated factors among lactating mothers at Gidan district, northeast Ethiopia. Objective: To assess effective breastfeeding technique and associated factors among lactating mothers at Gidan District, Northeast Ethiopia, 2021.
