dc.description.abstract A Healthcare-associated infections pose a major public health problem in developing countries, yet often preventable risk to patient safety. Poor hand hygiene among healthcare personnel might contribute to this risk in low-income settings. This paper attempts to explain what constitutes hand hygiene practice adopted by healthcare providers.
