dc.description.abstract Amblyopia is a visual development abnormality that occurs in either one or both eyes, which ranges from 0.14% to 12.9% globally. It occurs during childhood resulting in visual impairment if left untreated. Estimating the prevalence and associated factors of amblyopia is crucial for the establishment of vision screening programs for timely intervention. Objective: The purpose of this study was to assess the prevalence and associated factors of amblyopia among children aged 5-15 years in Gondar city, Northwest Ethiopia.
