Abstract:
The MOH developed a National Health Care
Quality Strategy in 2016 (2016-2020). The
goal of the NQS is to consistently improve the
outcomes of clinical care, patient safety and
patient centeredness, while increasing access
and equity for all segments of the Ethiopian
population by 2020. The NQS specified five
priority areas and four strategic focus areas.
Priority interventions are listed under each
strategic focus area, with three commitments
to be achieved in the short term laid out below.
