Abstract:
The content of the training manual has been prepared based mainly on WHO training module on
malaria control: case management, guide for participants and on WHO’s 3rd edition, guidelines for
the treatment of malaria, the national malaria guideline and on other technical documents and
existing FMOH training materials. The manual was prepared through a process involving a Technical
Expert Committee representing malaria experts from key partners, training and academic institutions,
malaria researchers, and FMOH malaria experts.
