Abstract:
Ethiopia is one of the Sub Saharan African countries located in East Africa. It lies between
latitudes of 3021’N and 14053’ N, and longitudes of 33003’ E and 48001’ E. The total surface
area of the country is about 1.1 million square Km. It shares border with Eritrea in north, Kenya
in south, Djibouti and Somali in the east, and Sudan and South Sudan in the west. Ethiopia has 9
regional states and 2 city administrations. According to Ethiopian Central Statistics Authority,
the total population of Ethiopia is estimated to be around 88 million in 2014 with population
growth rate of 2.49% per year
