dc.description.abstract | Advancing Ethiopia’s efforts to reduce stunting is critical to accelerate socio-economic progress and development, and improve the health and educational attainment of current and future generations. As shown in the previous four Ethiopian Demographic and Health Surveys (2000 - 2016) there was a substantial reduction in stunting prevalence in children under five years from 52% to 38%. Despite this impressive progress in reducing stunting rates over the past decade, the burden of stunting in Ethiopia is high. | en_US |
