dc.description.abstract The expanded criteria for initiation, increased availability and uptake of the HAART have resulted in a decline in HIV associated mortality and an increase in life expectancy of PLHIV over the past few years. However, NCDs and associated deaths has witnessed an unprecedented growth at the global scale. Although, evidences including those from Sub-Saharan Africa have showed the emerging importance of NCDs for PLHIV, data are lacking that show the burden of overall NCDs among PLHIV in Ethiopia. Therefore, this study aims to describe the prevalence of selected non-communicable diseases and their determinants among PLHIV receiving ART. en_US
