Prolonged length of stay at the emergency room and its associated factors in Tikur Anbessa specialized Hospital

Abstract

Background: The number of patients visiting the Emergency Department (ED) is increasing across the globe. Delivering care timely for those patients is crucial. Prolonged stay in the ED may have negative outcomes. However, evidence on prolonged length of stay and associated factors is lacking in Ethiopia.
