Knowledge on self-care among diabetes patients with follow up in selected government hospitals in Addis Ababa Ethiopia

Abstract

Problem Statement: Diabetes mellitus is a complex chronic illness demanding continuous medical and self-care. Insufficient diabetes self-care knowledge results in critical diabetic complications. Therefore, assessing that the level of knowledge a diabetic patient has a direct correlation with the risk of diabetic complications.
