dc.description.abstract Ethiopia’s investment in health in the last two decades has resulted in substantial improvements in the health condition of its population. For example, life expectancy has increased from 56.8 years in 2005 to 65.9 years in 2017 [1]. Three consecutive Ethiopian Demographic and Health Surveys (EDHS) (2005, 2011 and 2016) have indicated declining trends in neonatal, infant, under-five and maternal mortality. en_US
