Abstract:
The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Government Health policy states the mission of the
Ministry of Health as “to reduce morbidity, mortality and disability and improve the health status of the
Ethiopian people through providing and regulating a comprehensive package of promotive, preventive,
curative, rehabilitative and palliative health services via a decentralized and democratized health
system’’. The Ministry of Health recognizes the crucial role immunization contributes in reducing child
with immunization services.
