<description>Magnitude of blood borne pathogens: HIV, Hepatitis B, C and syphilis and associated factors among blood donors in Ethiopia; a retrospective study
Ethiopian Public Health Institute
Background: Even though blood transfusion saves lives and improve health of individuals, in&#13;
low income countries, it is been challenged by two crucial issues - blood shortage and safety. Unsafe blood transfusion is one of the sources of transmission for infectious agents; such as&#13;
human immunodeficiency virus, hepatitis B virus, hepatitis C virus, and syphilis. Therefore, this&#13;
study was aimed to determine the magnitude of sero-prevalence of HIV, HBV, HCV, syphilis,&#13;
and associated factors among blood donors in Ethiopia.

<title>People’s voice survey: Ethiopia country brief 2022</title>
<link>http://repository.iphce.org/xmlui/handle/123456789/5216</link>
<description>People’s voice survey: Ethiopia country brief 2022
Ethiopian Public Health Institute
High-quality health systems generate health, trust, and&#13;
economic benefit while responding to changing&#13;
population needs. Current measurements of health&#13;
systems fail to capture people’s perspectives at the&#13;
population level. The People's Voice Survey (PVS) is a new&#13;
instrument that measures health system performance from&#13;
the populations’ perspective. It assesses use of health&#13;
care as well as people’s experiences, expectations, and&#13;
confidence in the health system.
